Nearly 20 years ago I set up a social network on Ning to be a home for the then-new DIYDrones community, and that community went on to found ArduPilot, Pixhawk, PX4 and and countless companies, many of which are central to everything from the war in Ukraine to first-responder efforts globally. As I moved on to other things, the community kept growing on its own, and today this community hit 100,000 active users!

Right now Ning puts a cap on maximum users to 100,000 unless I pay a lot more for a pro membership, so I'll look into pruning that least active 10,000 users and see if we can start accepting new members again. Stay tuned
