Also for FPV go the extra dollars and buy the Immersion gear and antennas from circular wireless. It is one area that I would not buy HobbyKing again. HK is brilliant for lots of stuff and I would not be flying without them as my radio gear, batteries, motors and ESC are all Turnigy and NTM however their FPV radio Txs and Rxs can be a bit hit and miss.
If you get the Immersion gear it is just about always a hit. I did not really get my HK stuff working properly and I am a Radio Technician however all the other people I fly with have Immersion gear it works straight out of the box.
Eg:

I am not saying the HK gear is bad, just their quality control sometimes lets them down and this is one area where it can really bite.
I have done a couple of videos

I have two talons from XUAV and I love them, this is from the 3rd flight of the extension winged version
Flew it today GoPro just stuck to the front
Thank you Stephen checking it out rigth now.
@Nick - my recommendation would be for the Penguin
http://www.readymaderc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&a...
It flies a lot better than the Bixler and has much much more room to put gear into.
I have two - one I have customised with landing gear etc. I have the APM,Rx and power supply up in the canopy so it is a removable pod that I can take inside to update on the computer.
Hi everyone : for a retired newbie like me which plane do you recomend ? I like the looks of the talon ,bixler and the skua .my goal is to mount a fpv to do video of a particular montain in my area .5 miles away more or less ,seeing what you guys have done is amazeing .I now know it can be done . I am doing my homework ...learning the terms you use .I found a rc club close by so i can master what i am learning here. reputable retalers online ?
let me know .I have a name for my bird (THE ELDERLY TALON ) ,OR BIXLER LET ME KNOW
Best Regards
