Yes indeed, I put one more year behind, and one less year ahead of me today. For my birthday morning, the family packed up and walked down the street to our lovely park, where I was able to do some trail flying. In short, I keep a line of site on the quad and hike behind as I fly it down the trails. This is the first time I have accomplished this feat with an HD camera attached, and I am quite happy with the results. Stick around to the end, because there is a definite surprise as to what I caught on camera.

  • RUN FOREST! I MEAN RUN THROUGH THE FOREST! lololol Happy Birthday!

  • Thanks for the birthday well wishes too.

  • It was a pretty good day to be born. My wife, and children are on the other end of the calendar.

The bee didn't bring me down, no. Honestly it looked like something flew off my blade, and having recently seen a guy on here post a video with a blade breaking, I sat down quick to make sure something like that hadn't happened. Then I saw a bee flying up from the ground and start doing big circles. Being allergic to bees, I got out quick. It wasn't until reviewing the flight I figured the whole thing out.

  • June 9 is my oldest son's birthday. Happy Birthday to you both!

Did you land because you saw something clipped by the blade?

Surely the insect didn't cause the landing. Regardless, take care. It is called 'the wild' for a reason. ;)

  • Mikel...had I killed it, I would have kept flying. Seeing him flying around looking for something to sting made me leave at a trot. I really didn't want a trip to the ER.

    Monroe...thanks!
