I am trying to figure out whether it's possible to have a 2 camera set up with the Mavrik - which uses a Pixhawk system. here's what I'd like:
Camera 1 - using built in camera gimbal controlled through the receiver's gimbal switch.
Camera 2 - using FatShark with Trinity Head tracker - with Pan, Tilt, Roll.
The bit I am unclear about is whether I need to attach the pan/tilt/roll connectors into the pixhawk and whether that's even possible given that the mavrik already has a gimbal assigned.
The reason for this set up is to have me - as pilot - using the onboard camera to film, while the fatshark connection will allow a second person to look around a terrain for giant anteaters :)
any advice welcome, I can't figure out whether this is even possible or whether I just need to open up the drone to get to the pixhawak, insert the connectors into some aux/telem2 socket and then assign separate channels to the Camera 2 rig.
Best wishes,
Andy
