Is there a way that arduImu V3 can be used with ardupilot (legacy) as a replacement for arduimu V2 that is no longer in production?

Thanks in advance

Yes, you could probably modify the code to do that. But that's something the community should do--the dev team is no longer supporting the legacy ArduPilot and is focused on current-gen hardware.

Hi Chris , thanks for the answer, I thought that ardu IMU V3 is current gen hardware that was a direct replacement for arduimuV2. If it's not to be used for Ardupilot then what is ment for since APM doesnt need an IMU?

Thanks again Tassos

Hi Tassos,

did you got a solution for your problem? I also purchased an IMU V3 and would like to use it to replace the thermopiles on my Autopilot legacy. I don´t get the IMU V3 running on my autopilot.

Thanks for your help in advance

I was also under the impression that arduimu V3 would work with ardupilot legacy according to the code. However after a week of troubleshooting I can't get them to work with each other...

If anyone has a fix please share.
