I've always been huge into building robots and drones, since I was a little kid (maybe like 8). My Dad always built his own RC airplanes and gas-powered cars, and it always interested me. Recently, with the advancement of Arduino, micro-controllers and 3D printers, it's been fairly cheap to be able to build something really cool (fairly) easily.
So, for this reason, I decided to start a local Arduino / 3D printing / Robot / Drone Meetup group in Vancouver, BC. It has brought on a lot of attention, building up a membership of 65 people in just over a week.
