We are a group of 7 french students in Ecole Centrale de Lille, and we are doing a 2 years project of a drone following a sailboat. It will be tracked by the boat with a cable wincht. Its goal is to make a movie of this boat for a race for example.

We also have electrical stuff (dropix, GPS, ratio telemetry, battery...) and we are going to use arduplane and mission planer to program this drone.
We plan to use Cruise mode for the following.
I write in this forum to know if some of you ever did similar things and if we have to change arduplane's code to make it work, because the project is quite specific.
