I've built hexacopters almost exclusively. Right now I'm flying an HMF S550 hex with SunnySky 2212 980kV motors, 30A Afro ESC with SimonK, and using 8045 SF props. I use zippy compact 4S lipos and a Turnigy 9x TX/RX. My FC is an APM 2.5
