Developing a search and rescue assist multicopter which will search mountainous terrain for lost hiker, skiers and air crash sites. The deployment of multiple drones each with a preprogrammed search pattern based on the gps 3d map of the ski hill to ensure maximum chance of locating and bringing assistance to lost skiers in out of bounds areas. The safety of searchers will be greatly improved and the speed of bringing assistance optimised with as many as 8 drones working to cover the entire search area with flir imaging looking for body heat in the snow. Audio call out broadcasting and remote microphone monitoring for voice contact will be incorporated. Once located the drones can deliver survival equipment (sleeping bag, first aid, heat packs, radio and rations to search subjects until recue personel can reach and extract the subject.
