I am a member of an all volunteer K-9 search and rescue team. We use our dogs to find missing persons, deceased persons, articles for police evidence, etc.
Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest
I recently found this website and intend to look into it further, but some guidance would be greatly appreciated. I can clearly see the value that a UAV (I think a quadcopter would be most beneficial) can contribute to our searches. Since we are all volunteers, all expenses are out of pocket, so I would like to know how to construct an inexpensive UAV, but yet be very dependable. Any info on FLIR cameras would also be helpful
