I am a co-founder and technical manager for a UAV company called Spin.Works based in Lisbon, Portugal. My work focuses on Hybrid IMU/GPS/Vision-Based Navigation, Entry Vehicle GNC, and Hazard Detection and Avoidance applied to planetary missions
Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest
My company is focused on developing small-scale UAVs for civil applications such as agriculture, forestry, cartography, etc. We also work frequently with the European Space Agency on technology research applicable to planetary missions, which we tend to end up using on our UAVs.
