12 Channels PixHawk PPM?

Dear Readers,

Currently I'm the proud owner of a 3DR Iris, it is currently modified with a different RX which is a Immersion 433Mhz EZUHF 8 Channel Transmitter.

But currently, I'm installing a 3 axis gimball and I would like to make use of the 12 channel PWM/PPM output of the EZUHF Transmitter, but I wonder if Pixhawk is allowed/Able to handle 12 channels?

I could not find much information about this.

BTW. I have a Frsky Taranis with a Immersion EZUHF Module, which should be able to work with 12 channels.

Hoping you guys can help me out.
