2.4ghz conversion

Have any of you guys used the 2.4ghz DIY conversion kit from Hobby King???  I ordered one yesterday, so I'll follow up here after I install it, but I was hoping for any "heads up" that I could get before I start.

  • Ok, so I got the Corona DIY module and its AWSOME. I put it in a switch, so I can go back and forth between 2.4ghz, or my old 72mhz gear. I don't recommend it though, for the simple fact that after 2 years of routing 40 inch antennas, when you switch to 2.4ghz, you will not ever go back.....EVER. Now, for an amplifier. Not because I NEED it, just to be sure. :)
