3.2 RC14 issue ESC calibration

Last weekend I updated firmware to 3.2 RC14 from current stable release. Prior to the update I had performed several ESC calibrations (during build) and had successful flights. Updating to latest beta all seemed well after several flights, however, #2 motor on my cutom Y6 was starting a bit slower than others and decided to do an ESC calibration.

After saving settings and powering back up only 3 motors would spin. All were working during ESC calibration when throttle was applied. I attempted several additional ESC calibrations and either 1 or 3 motors would spin up after restart. I decided to go back to current stable release and after ESC calibration and restart all motors worked fine as before.

I am new to Pixhawk and may be missing something, but it appears something is happening between the calibration and restart with this build. I'm not sure if this was brought up before so wanted to share my experiences. Feel free to contact me if you have additional questions.

Thanks,

Jon

  • I thought I had added this to the 3.2 beta group, it doesn't appear so (newbie here). Will do better next time!
