3dr pm (power module) recalibration

Hi,

I am having trouble calibrating voltage.

As directed, measured the voltage after the diode. However, I am not able to input the measured voltage. Everything is greyed out.

All 4 fields are greyed out.

Can somebody tell me where to input the measured voltage. Or at least direct me to a discussion which answers this question.

Thank you,

JoT

    Jyothy,

There is a good explanation of what to do here. Basically you need to manually adjust the value of the parameter 'Voltage_Divider', usually by not more than a few percent. The 3DR PM outputs a 0-5v analog signal and has a maximum input voltage of 18v. A rough calculation shows that the value of the parameter 'Voltage_Divider' = 18/5 = 3.6. So for every volt on the output of the 3DR PM you should have 3.6v on the input. If you are powering the APM with a freshly charged 3S LiPo you might expect the input to be 12.6 volts and the output of the 3DR PM to be 12.6/3.6 or 3.5v. You can check this with a volt meter and adjust the value of 'Voltage_Divider' within a few percent to get a more precise reading. Adjust this value using the Mission Planner in the Advanced Parameters. The boxes in the hardware config for Voltage and Current sensing have been greyed out since I believe 2.72 (Arduplane).

    Hope this helps,

    Regards,
