So I seem to be having a problem with my data link. It was working once but now I get nothing.
I'm thinking it's because I clicked the "firmware update" button and it only updated one radio, I only say that because now I can not copy the parameters from the ground radio to the air radio, but before I selected the firmware update I was able to copy all to the other radio.
I only selected this due to having another issue, not being able to connect via Mavlink, it would just time out and say "no heartbeat" or something like that
I tried to update the air radio via FTDI cable but I was unable due to a driver issue, even after downloading the driver package from the web, kept getting a message that no driver was installed.
I've read through as much as I could due to the shear volume on this topic, so if anyone has any insight into this help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Well .... upon further investigation I've found that my PC has only downloaded part of MP 1.3.7 I say this because I don't have the Simulator or Terminal at the top, also in the Firmware update there is no option to download firmware custom or otherwise, only what is available under each platform, although all other aspects of MP seemed to be working, I was able to flash new firmware, go through the set-up for the APM, connect via Mavlink through USB all sensors working, however the only issue was not able to connect via radio telemetry through Mavlink, just keep getting the time out message. I've checked everything on my old steam powered laptop but it's just toooo slow to be able to do any changes from it.
Well I've solved the 3DR radio problem for now at least (use spare radios) but still having the original problem of not being able to connect via the 3Dr radios, even though the radios show they are connected, Mavlink just keeps timing out. This started ever since I updated to Mission Planner 1.3.7 the old version had no issues or at least none that I found. Is there a site that still has the old version that I can reinstall?
Thanks

Thanks Joe, seems like this was not the issue after all, something else is amiss.
