Hi all!
I guess this might be slightly "on the edge" since I'm talking about putting a GoPro Hero4 mounted on a 3DR Solo Gimbal and covered by a small transparent dome, underneath the tip of my actual aircraft wing.
Here is a picture...
So ok, the idea is that I'll be able to control the gimbal from inside the cockpit.
The airplane has an Autopilot so I can just let the plane fly and dedicate myself to do some filming.
I will have to bring electricity from the cockpit to the tip of the wing, passing inside the wing, and I could also bring a video cable and plug it into one of the cockpit's video screens.
Do you guys see any specific technical difficulty or have some thoughts about this before I go ahead and order both the Solo Gimbal and the Remote Controller?
By the way if you want to back me up this is my little project:

Many thanks!

I'm sure you know this, but make sure you work out the details and run it by your IA and local FSDO before you invest a lot money. If you are going to use this commercially you will have to get the FAA buyoff on the mods (will probably require a one-time STC). if you have EFIS in on the panel you will not likely be able to just plug in an alternate video source. Engineering an alternate overlay to the MFD would be expensive. better to just pipe it to a small removable panel or tablet.
Good Luck! thats a big job you have undertaken.
btw.. I am commercial pilot with A&P.
