  • The BrushLess Direct Current (BLDC) motor requires electronics to sense the position of the motor to turn on the correct transistor for the next segment. BLDC motors can be identified by three wires. They act more like a three phase AC motor with pulsed DC.

    The ESC (Electronic Speed Control) translates the servo signal into the correct pulses to give the corresponding RPM.
