The holux gps unit that came with my picopilot decided to start speaking a different language all of a sudden! I have had countless successfull flights with this gps and then today I fire it up and the gps was failing. everything looked like it was working properly, gps fix light was flashing as normal. hooked the gps up to hyper-terminal and noticed some funkey NMEA data messages. instead of the normaI data I was getting crazy data output like d#aaac#c along with some other characters that I cannot reproduce with my computer. none of the gps programs I have are able to understand the data being put out by the gps. does anybody know what in the world is going on???

Or perhaps its serial settings have changed (baud).
I'd hunt around online and find a way to reset it to the default settings.
