Metrics for RC Helicopters used as UAVs

Hi,Does anybody know of or have some metrics or list of specifications of assorted RC Helicopters that would help in descriding platforms to use as a UAV? Some of the metrics I would consider useful would be flight time (typical, maximum, etc), payload, weight (with or without fuel), max airspeed, etc. These values would be based on different sizes, styles and configurations of the many RC Helicopters out there, both electric and glow.Example (do not take these values as fact, they are gathered from assorted online sources)Align T-Rex w Lithium-Polymer Batteries (11.1V 10C 1800mAh)Flight Time - Approx. 17 MinutesWeight (w/o Batteries) 320 gramsPayload 300gramsThanks for any insight...Mike

  • Weights & flight times don't often get straight answers on the internet because there are too many variables. 10 minutes is a normal flight time for any stock electric copter. People getting 15 are probably using new batteries. The gas ones fly for over 40 min. The following can fly for 11 min:

    Trex 450 SE V2
    11.1V 3.3Ah battery with over 100 cycles
    8oz autopilot
    No flybar

Add an 8oz camera & flight time is 7min.
