What could be better than building your own jet engine? This site was created by Kenneth Moller and is home to the most active pulse jet forum community on the planet. There is an extensive searchable treasure trove of publications, plans and discussion in the forum. It's all about fire and noise and making things go with jets that have no moving parts!http://www.pulse-jets.com/phpbb3/I mentioned the 100$ autopilot here:http://www.pulse-jets.com/phpbb3/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=4869

Anyway, I imagine there would be stabilization issues with any pulse jet powered aircraft using thermopiles for stabilization. The exhaust is pretty hot.
