I'm trying to check my X/Y/Z accel graphs, I enable IMU logging but the graphs are abnormal - any suggestions as to what could be causing this (dodgy board?) and some things I can try to fix it? I have already cleared the EEPROM and reloaded the AC 3.0.1 software.

Are you using a Mac?
These spikes are just bad data being read into the serial buffer.
I use a Mac running Fusion and this was happening at odd times, and I read one suggestion that on the serial port settings to turn on X-on/X-off for flow control. This seems to have helped.
If you have anything else running, especially if it uses any serial, it also seems to affect it.
It's Windoze not the APM board.
