It is a pressure sensor. It doesn't much care (or know) how far off the ground you are. Climb a mountain, you might be three feet off the ground. Visit the sea, your plane could be 20,000 feet. And both could show the exact same pressure... However, be sure to check on your local aviation requirements. In the US, flying most gear of this sort is presently handled as a hobbyist model plane, and must be flown under 400 AGL.

How are you planning to use these devices?
It shouldn't be a problem, all relevant components have temperature compensation, barometer will work fine unless you hit outer space :)
Don't use it in a sumbarine, though.
