Hi,
so I built myself a quad to continue development of my groundstation project and to learn about quads. It's an MF450 from BEVRC. Everything works fine so far - still on the default params.
However, I noticed a constant drift of the copter. I did level it and the level is dead on. It still - even inside - always drifts with about 1/4 - 1/2 m/s. Radio is calibrated (radio and APM side). Any advice what I can do about that?
To my understanding, APM2.5 has "real" accelerometers, not only inclinometers. Hence I don't get where the drifting comes from. Shouldn't the APM detect the drift via the accels and compensate? Or does the algorithm try to just level the copter and not try to keep it on the same spot hands off?
