Hi all,

I am trying to interface an ArduPilot Shield V2 with an ArduPilot mega and am having a bit of confusion as to which pins I need to tap into on the Shield.  All I need to utilize right now is the airspeed sensor, which I believe has its analog out at the shield pin marked "A3".  Now for power and ground, Do I just connect to any of the 5V pins and any of the ground pins?  Looking at the schematic I can see where the 5V pins connect to the airspeed sensor, but it makes it seem like none of the ground pins are connected to the airspeed sensor.  Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
Ian Armstrong

We hadn't expected people to connect their old ArduPilot shields as airspeed sensors, but there's no reason why you can't. It does indeed output on Analog 3. Just apply a continuity test to the board and you should see that both ground and V+ are connected to the sensor.

Needless to say, you should connect it to the ArduPilot Mega IMU shield on the "Pitot" port.
