Hi all, been flying DJI Phantoms for a couple of years but want to build my own now.

I would appreciate any advice and comments on the following proposed setup for a x8quad. i.e. any suggestions on improvements, compatibility issues etc.

My main aim would be to have a uav that can carry a gopro and gimbal with maximum flight time.

Thanks.

  • It looks like a good high end build with all the bells and whistles.  You did not mention your past experience with similar projects.  My only comment is that a build like this requires mechanical and electrical building skill or assistance from an experienced quad builder.
