Airport range rings in Mission Planner

I see Mission Planner now has range rings around airports on the flight planning maps. I think it is a good idea for the less brilliant among us to be reminded of where they are flying. For those of us who are smart and responsible, we can turn them off. So I think it's a good thing.  However, what is the logic behind what shows up and what doesn't?  There seems to be a lot missing.  For example, KFDK is not there, a very busy delta.  But KGAI is there, a not nearly as busy uncontrolled field. Also, in downtown DC, there is a ring around the Greyhound Bus Terminal????
