Alt Hold

My stabilize works just fine and when i put it into Alt Hold it shoots off like a rocket.  The barometer is covered and the APM is on foam to knock out vibrations.  Anything else i am missing here?

    There is also the new parameter for mid throttle point called THR_MID. It's default is 50% and it might need to be changed to where your copter's throttle point hovers at in stabilize mode. The THR_MID wouldn't make it shoot like a rocket. Normally it would change altitude slowly. I'd also check if your barometer is breathing. There is a CLI test called pressure to check the barometer.
  • The barometer is covered with what? If it's sealed it won't register change in pressure.
