Alt_Hold throttle deadband area?

Greetings,

I noticed a strange issue today while cruising around in alt_hold at around 80 meters up: When trying to adjust (lower) the altitude to get closer to sonar range, when lowering my throttle to what I would think would be out of the deadband area, the throttle value on my minimosd stayed at 47-50% no matter how low I went. it happened a few times until it eventually started to allow the copter to come down (at 40-45% throttle I believe was the start of any noticeable decent from hold..)

While (as always) I could be fouling something up, does anyone know where the actual deadband is on the throttle input? I believe it involves the hover throttle value that you have it set on when setting alt_hold, but going from say 50% throttle in alt_hold, and lowering the stick slowly to 10% should have done something, or at least registered on the osd as a throttle decrease...

Thanks for any input! I might update the wiki to reflect a little more detail on this when it's ironed out..

Thanks,

Mike
