Hi,

Could somebody tell me please if Altitude is measured from the ground or from sea level in APM software ?

The default is measured from your point you armed. Same is for your he position. Start at elevation 500 feet above sea level and that's 0 to the APM. So if you fly 20 meters up, the APM reads 20 meters. In mission planning you can set for absolute altitude, which uses Google Earth elevation, so you can avoid mountains or hills.
