Just wondering if anyone has seen issues mounting batteries on top of all the electronics (excluding GPS)?

I'm mainly talking about electrical interference and or issues with sensors such as the baro.  I've only got one test flight with this configuration and only noticed one anomaly so far in which the hex took off straight up from 9 meters to 30 meters in a matter of seconds.  But I haven't been able to pin this reaction to anything related to my setup.  (I was switching from stab to loiter but not 100% sure of where my stick was positioned.)  In the attached picture, the setup from top to bottom is battery(4s 5000), 100a distro board surrounded by all my ESCs(40a), carbon plate, 15mm of space, APM2 (in side mount case) mounted to another carbon plate(bottom plate).  APM2 and rx share the same plate.

Thanks for your input as usual!

First off, I would think it's a problem for the GPS, but you should be able to see that right away.

Secondly, it might cause a problem for the magnetometer.  However, the distance separating those two is similar to the distance between them if you were mounting the battery below, and I can't think of any good reason over would be different than mounting the battery under the board.
