Ok. I followed the directions and found the following

1)Unplugging the USB radio causes a blue screen/Mem dump in Windows 7

2) Drivers do not install.

In XP Drivers install, but the config software is locking up.

Any body else played with these?

Does this system require that both units be powered up to function?

Ok. I wrote a simple loop back program and can send chars from one text box to another.

The bridge is functioning in Win 7. That leaves the APC transiever.

Ok. Dont unplug it from the USB port. Blue screen awaits

Its the bridge. I just unplugged it (with out the APC220) and the WIN7 bluescreened.

I'll try the XP net book again later.

I am off to buy a radio. The one ordered3 weeks ago still has not arrived.

Thats the code that locks up. APC220.exe // RF-ANET.

Shows something found in port 3, but all I get is an hour glass.

That part is working. I have it set for port 4
