I have an APM 2.5 clone on my HK HAL Quadcopter. My compass offset x is rather high. Is this a problem should I do anything? My X offset was up around 530 but I moved the board up away from the frame and that brought the offsets down to this COMPASS_OFS_X -292.042, COMPASS_OFS_Y 21.441, COMPASS_OFS_Z -85.816. Is this good, bad or ok? Any help would be appriciated. I flew today and It flew fine.
Thanks,
Jonathan

I have same issue, I've outlined it here, http://diydrones.com/forum/topics/compass-calibration-always-above-150
Again it's an APM RC Timer clone
I'm having a similar problem but offset readings are >400 everywhere! I may have placed a magnetized screw driver near the compass when I was initially assembling it... not sure if this has permanently damaged the compass.
Some of those numbers seem very high. I assume that your compass orientation is set to the default?
