APM 2.5 broken?

Hi,

I just got myself a gopro gimbal from ebay, and long story short I've accidentally connected the tilt wires (powered) from the gimbal wrongly on to my receiver and I think this may have broken my APM 2.5 board.

Basically I've accidentally put the power cable from my powered receiver into the signal input on the apm 2.5 input board. (Don't ask me how and why, wasn't my brightest moment) APM won't arm now.. I can't even connect to mavlink on my computer. The only led light I see on is the yellow power light. Is there a fix for this or have I completely killed my board.

Thanks.

  • Hi Lester,

I guess this relate to the message you sent me. I didn't manage to fix mine after conecting mine to a battery with too high a voltage, it was "only" 5.5V or so too. I checked the fuses and they seemed ok, so I think I blew something critical up. I ended up ordering a replacement unfortunately.

edit, Mine would connect, but woudn't arm and I couldn;t get an alititude data when testing the terminal.
