Hi All,
I have been working with my apm for a while and i have never really been able to fly it with much success.
Here is where is am at:
Old version of 3.2 no issues new version of 3.2 i get bad gyro health.
No problem i disabled the the pre-arm check and took it out to my back yard and hovered for a few seconds and them i started to playing with it. Out of nowhere it pitched down and darted it forward with out warning. I also feel like its hit and miss on the direction that i tell it to go. meaning 1 out off three times that i tell it to go left at least on time it will go right.
Could Be my remote or it could be the APM I dont know i do know that the pitch is jittery without moving.
I am trying to go through the logs, but i have no earthly idea if what i am looking is correct.
can anybody give me a hand?
regards,
Julio Jo

upload .log from APM.
Also; great problem solving when disabling pre-arm checks - why would anybody program such a annoying feature ? When a fuse blows at your home, you'd probaply use a big shunt instead to disable future fuse-problems :)
Andre,
so i dont have .log i only have .tlog and the reason for it that CLI is no longer support in 3.2 that i use option 2 the telemetry logs that mission planner out does when wireless telemetry is connected.
i did post a log file but it a .tlog is that not the same?
if I understand you right, you cannot find it in log download ? - and download it over telemetry or USB ?
that's unfortunate - that would be the best chance for finding out what happened.
i was looking thru my logs and i i found some .log files. hope these are good
regards

Something have become loose/unbalanced during the flight, you got very bad vibrations midair. May be a part of a prop that fell off, a motor came loose, or something like that. The vibrations are far more that what's supposed to be flyable.
The problems start after line ~2650 where you do a fast throttle change (which is not an excuse for something to fail)
The graph scales are not here due to picture width restrictions, but the IMU.AccX,Y scale is -45...+45 ! ()
i wish i had the video for what happened. the thing darted forward about 5 yards and hit my fence. broke a two props and one of the arms.
That was some great analysis.
so in your opinion the Gyro and acc are in good working order?
during flight they seem fine - but no, the fact you disabled the prearmcheck does not indicate everything is in order, but not necessary critical.
You should recalibrate both, and enable armingcheck to be sure.
i have calibrated several times and the pre-arm will not let me arm the quad do to a bad gyro health.
the voltage on the regulator is putting out the correct voltage. 3.27
never seen a problem like that - unable to tell how critical it may, or may not be.
