I am currently flying the Ranger EX. I would like to get the telemetry and GPS out onto the wings. I don't know if longer cables are commercially available or not. If they are, where can they be purchased? How long can these cables be before there might be adverse effects? I would like to hear what others have done to accomplish the same goal.

You can splice in your own extensions easily. There are no reported issues extended inc the GPS or telemety cables, I have done both successfully. However there have been some reports of issues on the I2C bus due to long leads. This could be the compass built into your GPS, or a digital airspeed sensor. Watch for problems and try a ferrite if you suspect interference.
