Hey guys, trying to setup the APM throttle failsafe.I have confirmed that with the transmitter powered up, if i power it down, the throttle drops back to its minimum point. My throttle low point value is about 1200 pwm so i set my failsafe ENABLED always RTL at a about 800 pwmBut when i arm the apm, and power down transmitter, throttle drops but failsafe does not engage.Am i missing something? I have been using the failsafe guide herehttp://copter.ardupilot.com/wiki/failsafe/Thanks!

Failsafe 924, and ive set the failsafe PWM to 950. I have armed the APM board and then turned off the TX, the APM disarms however when i check in the failsafe menu/screen, the flight mode doesn't change to RTL when failsafe is activated. Its just stays at stabilize.
If the minimum is 1200 and rx has a failsafe, then with the tx off it will drop to 1200. The apm failsafe will only be enabled for pwm's < 800 and since 1200 is above that, nothing happens.
What I do is go into the radio settings and temporarily increase the range (endpoint?) of the throttle channel to 125 or 150%, as much as it can handle. Then I lower the stick and set failsafe on the rx that way. Next I reset the endpoint to regular 100% endpoint settings. Now reconnecting the apm, I can see on the radio that with the tx on, it follows whatever the throttle is set to. As soon as the radio is off, I'd get the lower value of the stick it was at 125 or 150%. In my case this would be about 1008 with 1108 normal settings. If I set my failsafe apm value to 1050 this way, in normal operation throttle is always > 1050 in range. When failsafe engages on the rx, it will be 1008 or so, therefore < 1050, and apm will engage RTL behavior.

So heres where im at,

So can i trust failsafe at this stage or not?
So im after some Spektrum Pros.
What receivers have the correct failsafe. The failsafe that drops the throttle in the event of signal loss.
Apparently the AR600 will no do this and cannot be used because if does not support the correct failsafe?
Thanks!
