Hmm, voltage sensing seems to be working fine, I calibrated that using a multimeter but I obviously failed miserably with the current sensing (see log).. Will try again over the weekend.
HDOP seems steady now but I need to turn off EKF by the looks of things. I was going to increase the value to 1.0 but I think may be it's best to disable it.
The problem is not knowing if your power module conforms to the 3DR standard. Here is a picture of the way the 3DR is wired. A conforming PM with follow with the one red wire representing the outside most red wire and the rest of the black wires following the same order downward as the picture.
I would highly recomend checking yours with a volt meter to make sure because if it is not right you could damage your FC
There are two each of the positive and the ground wires. Unfortunately there are some differences in the order on the mini itself so don't go by a generic mini diagram use the one for the brand that you bought. You can power it up and use a voltmeter to figure out which are which on your power module. The stock 3DR pin out can be seen on pictures of a genuine APM board but again not everyone conforms. The RCTimer mini is different than the 3DR standard as an example.
I know this should be easy to find but I'm fitting an APM Power Module to my APM Mini and there are 6 wires from the power module but the board only has 4 labels, please see photo. Obviously I want to make sure I get the connections right, does anybody know what the other 2 wires are? I presume they are duplicates but a diagram would be good..
Also, what is the name of the mini plug type used by the APM Mini?

Enjoy your build! Don't forget to calibrate the voltage and current sense. Cheers

Hi Mike,
Just tested it and it is exactly as your pinout picture, the two outers are positives one side and grounds on the other so I reckon I'm good to go.
This is the unit: http://www.banggood.com/APM2_6-ArduPilot-Mega-Power-Module-V2-Volta...
Thanks again..

Cheers and have fun
I've got the pin outs on the Mini, so on the power module are the two outer pairs the grounds and positives?
Cheers.
Peter.
Yes
