APM/PixHawk 3DR alternatives to DJI Lightbridge

I was looking at this bundle from DJI and Zeiss http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1071643-REG/dji_lightbridge_2_4g_full_hd.html

and was wondering what would it take to make a similar thing based on existing 3DR components, like a PixHawk and a standard 2.4G Radio like a Taranis.

The goggles are easy, the RC command transmission is covered by the Taranis, but I don't seem to find alternatives to the video transmission part of the equation and the OSD part also.

Ideas. suggestions ?

    You don't need a Pi, keep it simple with this system

    The only thing that gets close is the raspi or BBB digital diy FPV systems. Search digital fpv

    I would like to know of any options as well.  There's Skydrone system, but that operates on cell data...  That could get expensive!

      I found only for short range HD these 

      Paralinx around usd1000. No experience and very limited reviews so I'm curious about, but not usd1000 curious :)

    So I gather that HD FPV is not a subject for non DJI users.
