APM Planner and python scripts

Hello to everyone,

I am pretty new to all this stuf and I would like to learn how to load scripts in APM Planner not Mission Planner. I am using Linux and APM Planner 2.0 and what I need to do is to add waypoints in APM Planner trough script. I would like to load python script, but I  can not find the way to do that. I looked for that on the internet, but I can not find the way to do that trough APM Planner, I found the way to do it only trough Mission Planner, and I do not need that.

I a would be very grateful if someone could tell me how to do that.

Thanks in advance.

    MAVProxy — MAVProxy 1.6.4 documentation
  • Thank you on your fast replay. So one way is to use Mission Planner with Python script, and the other is to use MAVProxy with AP2. I am not so familiar with MAVProxy, so could you please tell me basic steps what should I a do.

    Thanks in advace.

  • AP2 does not have python script interface.
MAVProxy is your friend for such purpose, you can use it along AP2 of you like.
