Just ordered a apm 2.5 kit with power module & ublox gps and been reading up on the power connections and have a couple of questions to those that are using it. I'm on a 4s battery on a quad so within the voltage limits for using it.
It says your remove the JP1 power jumper and use the supplied cable that comes with it to both power the apm & for current voltage sensing into the apm2.5 power socket. So..........
by doing this does it supply power to the receiver too??
do you need to remove the red wire from the esc bec's??
Didn't want to over power it & blow it the first day of installation so though I'd make sure.

To answer your questions,
1. Yes it will power the Reciever.
2. That depends on the BEC circuts in your ESC's. Liner BEC's dont mind being in serial. I used 4 30 amp ESC's with linear BEC's and have not fried my quad with somewhere upward of 50 flights, and honestly like the redundancy if a BEC were to cut out then there are 3 other backups.
