APM2 onboard GPS

Hi all,

Am i right to say that the GPS on the pre-soldered daughterboard with GPS cannot be disabled?

I have looked through the codes in brief.. it seems like there are no codes that provides detection of GPS in the event that an external GPS is connected (there is only one serial input for both GPS, and they run parallel)?

Can anyone help me on this?

So far no responses yet =[

There needs to be a way to choose onboard or external GPS or DIY Drones needs to sell the SD card breakout board for APM2.0 w/o the GPS so we can attach our own.
