Hi all,
I purchased an arducopter presoldered and tested kit from Fah Pah electronics during the first order group and am attempting to set it up over vacation. This will be my first time building a hobby kit and I have a few questions about the electronics install. I have built the frame including attaching the esc's and motors.
1. The 3s battery outputs 11.1volts and plugs into the power distributoin board. From there should it go to a voltage regulator or is 11,1volts ok to input to the arducopter autopilot?
2. I have ordered and am waiting on the 3s 2650 mAh 25C battery that is suggested in the wiki. On site i have a 3200mAh 20C battery from another project. Is it possible to use that until the new batteries come in?
Like i said this is my first build and I appreciate the instruction guides and help provided on the forum. Great Product!

You'll note that the power distribution board does not provide power for the electronics directly from the battery. Instead, that comes from one of the ESCs, which converts the 11.1v to 5v and provides power to the APM board via the servo connectors. You cannot power the APM board with 11.1v.
The battery that you have is fine.
