Should I enable the brake on the ESC?

Should I enable soft or super soft startup mode?

Should I adjust the timing mode when using the standard Arducopter 880KV motors?

You should set your timing to high. You should notice that on high timing your motors seem to run smoother. Google esc quadcopter motor timing if you want to read up on it.

Long time, I am curious as to how you ended up setting up your ESC. I screwed the setup on one and need to set it up again. Let me know.

Did you find out about timing? Which parameters did you put in place to configure yours? Weight? Stability?

No Brake, no soft startup.
