Well I finally got my receiver in and got the ardumega hooked up and started to configure the quad.
I heard the ardupirate guys had some really good settings and I got their version of the APM planner, but after downloading it and trying to use it , it could not open the com 3 to the board. Not sure why, it kept telling me the board was not in flight mode, even when I adjusted the switch. Anyways, I went back to the original version I downloaded and configured the board / Copter.
I did ok I think but I am not getting any gps signal on the flight planner, it ready no gps. How do I set this up. I have the gps module, It is also the ardumega board.
I also went on line and downloaded the arduino program, DO I need this?
