Hi all,
I have Ardupilot, Shield Version 2 and ArduIMU with a GPS module EM-406A. I programmed ArduIMU, Ardupilot and connected between them according to the instructions given in the manual. I choose to have MANUAL mode for control 1 and STABILIZE for control 2 and 3.
After the first start of the entire system, do I need to wait for a FIRST GPS lock before I can use STABILIZE mode?
I am asking this because I was doing a test indoors and while waiting for the GPS lock (after the calibration of the IMU) I tried to switch to STABILIZE mode and I noticed that no commands were passed through and no STABILIZATION was done (upon tilting the ArduIMU board).

One more thing I noticed:
The behaviour described above, occurs ONLY when I use version 1.8.2 for ArduIMU.
When I use Version 1.7 for the ArduIMU, I never get a GPS lock, but I get STABILIZE mode working properly...
Maybe somebody can clarify this situation...
