Hello:

I have an ArduIMU+ v2, with a DIYDrones GS407 and breakout board (basic).  I am supplying power to the ArduIMU+ with a 7.2V LiPo battery.  I think the ArduIMU is mostly working as it is able to read its own sensors and it talks to an HMC5843 that I added.

However, it appears to get no fixes.  I checked and 5V is getting to the breakout board.  Is this sufficient for getting a first fix?  I saw somewhere a comment that "Jordi Munoz says the GS407 must be well supplied" and someone suggested 8V but the ArduIMU+ EM406 connector supplies only 5V.

Or is it something to do with the user options for GPS in the ArduIMU+ code?  I think the right settings are uBlox and text messages?
