Arduino IDE that can handle multiple source files

I was going through Jordi's code and he talks about multiple "tabs". I've used Visual Studio (C#) for a couple of months, and have wanted an IDE that will let me do something similar with my Arduino, particularly with Jordi's code. But how do you do it? The official Arduino IDE only allows one file (sketch) at a time.Maybe Jordi could describe the setup he is using to compile the code. I'm not really a programmer. I just know enough to cause a lot of frustration and suffering, but I would like to make my suffering more efficientEric

I don't quite understand the question, but you're wrong: each tab is a different file (.pde). They're all just in the same folder. Please look at our code a bit closer and you'll see.
  • Hmm I thought it did have tabs..
I haven't used it since the start of this year but I vaguely remember it having a tabbed interface.
