Ardupilot as an FPV Flight assistant

Hi,I'm looking for an OSD/flight assistant for my FPv plane. I'm comparing Ardupilot, RVOSD and Eagletree. Ardupilot seems like the most capable of the three but I have a few questions...I wont me using the xbee module, only my RC transmitter. Can I use my Tx to change flight modes mid-flight? Like to turn loiter on and off or manually initiate RTH.Can I have waypoints set up using the mission planner, take off manually and then turn on or off the waypoint circuit with my Tx?Can I add the current location as a waypoint mid-flight?I guess I'm really asking if the OSD has a menu structure like Eagletree that allows mid-flight changes to the configuration.Eddie

    1) Yes, you can use the Ch5 toggle switch on your Tx to change modes in flight.

    2) Yes

    3) Yes with Arducopter. Not until next free software update with ArduPlane. (Unless you're using Xbees, in which case you can do it now)
