Hi.

I flashed APM with ArduPlane 2.28 From APM Planner 1.1.34 , and executed "setup" and "reset" in terminal.

At first I noticed that inverting roll axis was impossible after the initial calibration, I inverted roll axis by modifying "-1" on CH1 to "1" -   The GUI does not reflect this on the calibration screen.

That's not the worst part;

Manual mode gives (naturally) smooth aileron operation

Stabilized mode, - compensates correctly for APM roll. - smooth and nice.

However: in stabilised mode, I can move the stick to one way, and roll nicely, but at the end of the other way, the aileron goes absolutely bananas, jumping around randomly, while I hold the stick steady.

Is this firmware stable ? - what do you fly ?

  • - This happens only when throttle is all the way down !
    *IN* CH1 jumps randomly if at low value when throttle is down.
  • Yes, completed radio setup (multiple times) - and min,max, and center values seem fine.

    only reversing does not seem to stick, at all, unless done manually.

    found no reason to the shaking.

    please see this video - it shows it very well (observe display for mode/AHI):  http://youtu.be/0NVJV3AlLQw

    as for your problem. did you do radio setup properly?

    looks like you found a bug. if you switch tabs in that screen and back again it fixes itself.
